BBQ Friends of the 3Men
It was as a result of a mutual passion for BBQ that the 3Men came
together in the first place. At the risk of sounding modest we would submit that BBQ
people are some of the nicest people in the world. This has really rung true for us over
the past year, with a trip to Memphis in May and our entry into the world of competition
BBQ.
At Memphis in May we were hosted and treated like VIP's by teams and people who we met for
the very first time. We were invited into their enclosures, given food and beer (this is a
very important and common quality that is present in all BBQ relationships), and made to
feel completely at home, almost as if we were part of the team themselves.
Our entry into competition cooking has been an equally rewarding experience. The folks we
have met have taken us in like their own, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Even
in this competitive environment and in the heat of battle, people are willing to share
information and really help each other to be better cooks. We truly value the kindness and
the friendship we have been shown by our BBQ friends and want you to meet some of them on
this page.
